...through the misty veils of time.

Hello to all of you out there,

Thanks for stopping by.  This is Rob, (aka "TheMetal1") and it's been a little bit over a year since the last podcast with myself and Steve (aka "Glinbog") at the helm as NPC Guest Hosts and even longer with the original hosts Chuck, Lonnie & History Dave.

If you're reading this, besides the fact that there hasn't been any new shows, you've probably noticed that the original website has disappeared, along with the forums an everything else.  Access to that website for various reasons lapsed many months ago and for the better part of a year, there just wasn't any place to post to keep everyone updated.  And of course, for Steve & I, real life got in the way of making any new shows.

All that being said, I went ahead and set-up this page using Google's Blogger instead of Word Press which is what the previous site used as it is a free to blog site.  As you take a look around, I'm sure you'll notice a few things.  Thanks to website called "The Way Back Machine" which takes archieval web "snapshots" I was able to pull graphics up from the early days of the show.  I've also added links to few of the old podcasts that have podfaded.  You can still access a lot of those shows, just like you can still access old Dragons Landing Inn episodes and the content remains excellent.

Of course you'll also see that we've added a few links to various projects that the hosts are part of.  Take for instance the pirate picture on your right.  That's Chuck & Lonnie's Capt'n Blacks Sea Dogges Band.  The original hosts continue to game and make music.  In fact, the Sea Dogges just finished a successful kickstarter for their new album "Shore Leave" which ended on the 4th of September.  So if you're looking for some great pirate themed music check out their new album and the Capt'n Blacks Sea Dogges CD Release Party will be held on the 22nd of September details here!

As for my co-host in the NPC Edition, Steve is working dilligently on his Steampunk/Victorian era game.  We've mentioned it before a few times on the show.  It is d6 based with a roll under the target number mechanic - very easy to learn and a lot of fun.  Steve's also been active in the artist front, doing various covers and pieces, and has even started his own company over on RPGNow called "Killer Goblin", so if you're looking for some stock art, check out his storefront.

So about the whole Dragons Landing Inn Podcast...well...obviously we've been on an extended hiatus.  It was a great run with the Original Hosts their shows are still enjoyed and talked about in various places.  As NPC hosts we enjoyed doing the show and thankful for the opportunity.

In the interim, please check back from time to time and we'll keep you posted here when we or the original hosts are ready to post another a show.  Thanks for checking in and we'll keep the fires burning...
